Helen Heels reports that Jennifuh will be just as fab as you remember her, even wearing classic garments from ten years ago. The rumor is that she will be readingÉliterature and will not be lipsychning or singing. It is rumored to have something to do with Andrew McCarthy's recent essay in Best Gay Erotica 2008. It appears that Jennifuh was consulting the ever-talented Chacoma Nieves regarding her cara. Read Ladying, with Helen Heels

Best Gay Erotica 2008

Edited by Richard Labonte
Selected and introduced by Emanuel Xavier

Rough and surly, smooth and sultry, or quick and raw -- however you like it, you'll find it in Best Gay Erotica 2008, twenty of the hottest and best-written man-to-man sex stories to appear in print this year. In “Underground Operator” Andrew McCarthy writes about how two men on a nearly empty subway platform indulge in rough, anonymous sex that lets them momentarily forget the stifling summer heat. “Donuts to Demons” finds a self-described “rock-n-roll artfag” searching for a lover “as patient and gifted and generous as he advertised on craigslist.”

“For the last decade, the premier annual collection of literary male homoerotica -- as respected among writers as it is popular with readers -- has been Best Gay Erotica.”-- Inches

Here's a 'lil lick:

Our tongues braided together in a passionate electric charge. I closed my eyes and opened up to this sexy stranger, forgetting about the stifling heat, the decrepit plaster ceiling falling apart above our heads, and the dangers we flirted with tonight in the subway, and every day, for being gay. We ignored the threat of hostility, and accepted our vulnerability by creating this pleasurable intimacy behind enemy lines. Fuck the police. We were going to fuck each other.

He pulled away to spit on his cock.
I'm gonna mash up this bamsee, boy! he declared.
Ya promise? I teased.
Fuh true.

Attention all subversives (That's you reading this), I know that you have been waiting for the “right time” to see Jennifuh Leathuh, and that time has arrived. I will be performing in the Church of the Living Womb Revival segment “The House of Oth'ah” on Saturday, November first at the very early hour of six o'clock p.m. Yes! This is the geriatric show that my large octogenarian fan base has been requesting for years.

I know all of my fans very well: You are an evolved, social justice- and thrill-seeking individual. Naturally, you want to stop the galloping infection of George Bush's mad cowboy disease, but your unemployment insurance, electricity, and spouse have all run out on you, rendering your psyche momentarily devastated.

Skip suicide and race up to Harlem, where you can join anti-diva anarchist drag comedian, Jennifuh Leathuh, as she reviews contemporary radical self-help literature guaranteed to restore faith in utopian ideals, true love, and high heels. I will not be singing, dancing, or lipsynching, but rest assured, I will serve as much entertainment as you have come to expect from this gal, even if my show description sounds as though it only describes me. :> Expect a classic Jennifuh Leathuh outfit, usual wild hair, hilarity, drama, and trauma.

THE FESTIVAL The festival itself runs day and night, from Thursday, Oct 30th through Sunday, November 1st and is packed with hot shows. I wish I could skip rehearsals and see every one! ZIRYAB is a monthly reading series (held every 1st Saturday of the Month) for Arab American Writers and Friends. Though it is a "reading series" geared towards Poets, Writers, & Playwrights, we also encourage musical performances and organize other types of multi-media events. The name ZIRYAB is taken after Ziryab, an Arab who lived in Al Andalus, now Spain, in the 9th century AD. Ziryab was by most accounts, one of the more fascinating figures of history, an unparalleled creator, inventor and arbitor of style and taste, who dictated fashions and arts. Ziryab designed new musical modes and methods, reworked scales, and constructed a harmonic theory which linked music and healing. He also is known for his influence on hairstyles, clothes (including which colors should be worn in what seasons), menus, tableware and etiquette, perfumes, cosmetics, toothpaste, philosophy, astrology and medicine. He was nominated as man of the Millennium along with Albert Einstein.

On Sunday, March 31st, 2002, join host HARMONICA SUNBEAM at her Sexy (Male) Stripper Contest at la Nueva ESCUELITA and sexperience the one and only La Leathuh fooling you all. This is a special Pre-April Fools Show, complete with scandalous surprises that you are not ready for! Are you curious?

Hot men will be stripping for your salacious selves, and the hilarious and charming Harmoncia Sunbeam will keep you laughing until next March. :-) D.J. RELENTLESS spins you back into time with a mixture of classics crossing many genres, as is the format for the last Sunday of the month.

I cannot disclose Jennifuh Leathuh's role in the show, but can assure you that you have never seen her like you will and will not be disappointed by the scandalous nature of her performance, nor that of the other guests. This night will offer unprecedented outrageousness. How can you resist such transgender temptation?!

Luv and Leathuh, Jenniifuh

[POST-SHOW REPORT: Jennifuh was snuck in as a surprise April Fool's stripper in the male stripper contest, along with a genetic woman, Cinnamon, who gagged the kids all the way to victory. "J.L." shocked the audience, stripping down to a huge dong and bra while Jadakiss' "We Gon Make It" mixed into Tweet's "Oops." Lady Reede samples such as "watch how my pussy's gonna grip this dick" and "a dick like that will make any pussy nervous" added additional sensuality to the strip session. The tranny chasers came out in full force that night!]

JENNIFUH BIRTHDAY BACCHANAL: 01-27-02 @ ESCUELITA

Sisterly solidarity to all of my family on this memorable day commemorating the legacy and vision of Martin Luther King, Jr. Although some have perceived King as being faulted with passivity, let us remember that it is the very government of the country he tried to change that orchestrated his assassination. Are we "free at last?"

After answering that, you probably need a good laugh; humor is an essential ingredient to any freedom struggle, (including just staying alive), and I know where to get you a bundle of stomach-knotting laughter that will enable you to continue your sojourns with re-envigorated strengths.

On Sunday, January 27th, 2002, experience the JENNIFUH LEATHUH BIRTHDAY BACCHANAL. Jennifuh will be mashing it up with her latest twisted performance offering in the form of a Dutch-language SOCA bashment, but only for a few minutes (as a special guest drag queen performer) during HARMONICA SUNBEAM's Sexy (Male) Stripper Contest at la ESCUELITA.

Hot men will be stripping for your salacious selves, and the hilarious Harmoncia Sunbeam surely will serve joke upon joke, welcomeness, wit, beauty, charm, elegance, inspiration, and even humbleness. (What divas offer all of that these days, especially humbleness? [Okay, she isn't homely and humble, I said she was beautiful and elegant! ;-]) D.J. RELENTLESS spins you back into time with a mixture of classics crossing many genres, as is the format for the last Sunday of the month. And all of you rude gyrl revelers need to catch Jennifuh Leathuh before she heads off to San Fernando, Trinidad next week to defend her title in the Chutney Soca Monarch 2002 competition; she has won the title consecutively for the past decade.

Lady Leathuh will turn you all out with her transglobal transsexual pre-competition birthday bacchanal performance. (Friday, January 25th is Jennifuh's 29th birthday.) Because this is a special cosmic time of year for all crazy Aqueerians, Jennifuh will gag you all with her most revealing of outfits to date. Can we say "hot pants," "batty rider shorts" or "pum pum shorts" and "uncastrated realness" all in the same sentence? Be prepared to be blinded by a sickeningly-colored reptilian print not to be replicated in natural settings; accessories complete; back bare [don't spook her manly muscles!].

Hair will be styled in a posthumous collaboration by mane mavens, Medusa and the Bride of Frankenstein. Bootery has been provided jointly by Dominatrix Dominique Delecroix and the National High-Water Wading Fly-Fisherpersons' Association of Upper Manhattan Bay (NHWWFFAUMB). Bamsey-rolling choreographic direction supplied by Lady Saw, the King Sunny Ade back-up dancers, and some sketel smashers from the Royal Caribbean Arch Dancehall. And the bitch is doing her own make-up, so keep a cautious distance less you want to turn to stone (Medusa's influence).

Crown Heights Crew, you bettah come through. Payeless Posse, pass pon she too. Jersey City Suheirem, I expect all of you. Penne Lovers, you know what to do (not the park!). Fort Queen, do your thing.

Prospect Heights, set your sights. Bed Sty, do or die. Flatbush massive represent. Putnam, Pitkin, Liberty, Church Avenues, meh nah say "Gway," so mind ya be dere Sunday.

Come wine your waist lines, but don't bust ya spines! Sunday, January 27th, 2002

Jennifuh recently commented on being born an albino to AfriCaribbean parents: 29 year ago, me pop out me muddah belly, and she look pon meh and say "Lord Jesus, give me strength! Me ave a dundus baby!" Well, meh ear dis and crack open meh mout and tell dis ras sketel, "You cantankerous old sow, dis is 1973, post-civil rights era. Meh nuh a 'dundus.' Meh ave a brwownin skin!" She wind up placin' meh in an incubator, tinkin' it a tannin bed. It been a down ill evah since.

JENNIFUH LEATHUH, 12-28-01 @ BARRACUDA

Seasonally Mild Temperature Greetings, one and all.

There have been few sightings of Jennifuh Leathuh in the past few months, for she has been chained to a post in a cave full of escapee circus tigers avenging their captivity on the chosen representative of humanity, Lady Leathuh. If they only knew that she did not eat animals, wave amerikkkan flags, or worship Jesus with end-of-year impulsive binge shopping. (She binge shops year-round.)

Anyway, the tigers all died of poisoning after finally devouring her wig full of hairspray and Jennifuh escaped with her false eyelashes barely attached and her Lee Press-ons chewed to hideous raw stumps. This Thursday (12-28-01), she will present herself at the Barracuda Star Search, performing just what such a survivor is likely to offer: A crazy massacre of an R'n'B classic.

All that her doctors can disclose is that her medley includes a white fur coat, a blue dress, and a red dildo, and that it is anything but patriotic. Roberta Flack will be rolling in her grave with Jennifuh's remix of "Feel Like Making Love," defiled with reappropriated interpolations of Indian Opera diva, Yma Sumac; Dancehall Queen, Sasha; your mothers' favorite gospel witness, Dorothy Norwood; and it is all sewn together with more genuine creativity than the corporate media has used to fabricate their version of what is going on in Afghanistan.

The show, hosted by the sophisticated Sherri Vine and the lovely Cashetta, is free and starts around 12 a.m. Thursday night/Friday morning, but you may want to get there early for a good seat. And when they round up all of the performers at the end to figure out who the winner is, based on audience applause, make sure you scream and holler as loud as you can so that your sister can buy some new pantyhose for the new year.

Barracuda Bar is located at 275 W. 22 St., just east of 8th Ave.

Hope to see you there.

JENNIFUH LEATHUH, 07-01-01 @ TWO POTATO

Have all of your friends abandoned you while they are on vacation, or as they pretend to be because they don't want you moving into their air conditioned home? Can't afford to get out of town, let alone uptown or downtown, or across a river? Foggy Fourth-of-July Fireworks not entertaining enough?

Well, you will get more than what you pay for if you bring four dollars in food stamps to the Two Potato Bar on Christopher St. and Greenwhich St. this coming Monday (7-9-01), at ten O'Cock, cuz there you will find the legendary (in her own mind) Mess, Jennifuh Leathuh.

Yes, that's right. This is the geriatric show with for you peeps lucky enough to be employed at jobs that require you to look together when you arrive promptly at an early hour Tuesday morning. Come the sleazy Mashed Potato and watch it get sweet, not with the too-large-for-her-current-wardrobe host of "Bring It!," Sybil Barington, who is notorious for her antagonistic, befuddled, easily dissed and dismissed by drunks dizzy queens self. Sybil was once highly-respected, but she has lost her grip lately. She can still perform though.

That's right, this chic is the epitome of tacky, tired, and tongue-tied, but thinks she is turgid and truly a diva! And since no one ever shows up, you are more likely to win the Broadway Show tix that she raffles off. (What box office craft queen still respects her enough to give them away to her is beyond me.) So come watch the show get sweet, with Jennifuh Leathuh and the debut of her Payless posse debutantes, SET 'N' CURL! Uh-Huh! The gyrl got together with some other start-ups (They bettah bring it fierce, or not at all!!) and they will be performing a number as a quartet, then battling against each other to win notoriety and applause in Miss Sybil's "Bring It!" drag contest.

And for those of you who were fast asleep last month, when Jennifuh laced the unsuspecting Escuelita audience with her drag queen version of Jay-Z's "I Just Wanna Love U (Give It To Me)," now is the time to catch her before Star and Buc Wild spook her one of these upcoming mornings during a live interview while a vengeful Jigaman himself and his homophobic hench-ladies wait for Lady Leathuh in the Hot 97 lobby with unappreciative brutality spicing their morning breath.

So come through and support me before I am made an offer I cannot refuse and have to hang-up my hose for good.

Unspookabley yours as the Dragnasty,
Jennifuh Leathuh

JENNIFUH LEATHUH, 06-17-01 @ LA NUEVA ESCUELITA

Oh, honey the summer is getting hot, but the nasty humidity can't keep you away from your favorite mess, Jennifuh Leathuh. And if I am lucky, the heat will keep you up all night so that you will be restless enough to make such poor judgments that will allow you to come see me perform instead of getting much-needed rest. ;-)

Sunday Night, June 17th, at 1:30 a.m. (actually, early Monday morning), La Leathuh will be entering the Escuelita "Diva Search" Drag cuntest. Bring your dollars for tipping and your vocal chords for screaming. You know that this secular sissyster needs all of the spirits she can get up in there, since most of the other gyrls will undoubtedly be fighting amongst themselves about who will be performing which one of Yolanda Adams' tracks from her "live in Washington, D.C." CD. (It is Sunday, after all.)

The Jiggaman himself is on lock, so I won't be risking my life with this appearance. And word is that Jadakiss of the LOX will be making a special guest appearance with me, just to one-up old bone, Jay-Z. Okay, maybe if you are lucky, you will see just me, or even one of MANY REAL LIFE GAY Hip-Hop recording artists, such as Lord Tyrik ("Uptpown, Baby; Uptown Baby...). But you didn;t catch that tea spilling out of MY cup!! ;-)

More info is below.

Unspookabley yours as the Dragnasty,

JENNIFUH LEATHUH, 05-13-01 @ LA NUEVA ESCUELITA

Greetings one and all.

I am writing to you to let you know of a rumor I heard recently about the beloved Drag Terrorist Jennifuh Leathuh. It is my understanding that she will be risking bodily harm at the hands of none other than J-Hovah, Jiggaman himself, Jay-Z, at the debut performance of Jennifuh's hilarious cover version of Jay-Z's "I Just Wanna Love U (Give It To Me)."

That gyrl is so dedicated. Who else would throw all caution into the wind to deliver to her loyal fans such an uproariously silly song? Oh, honies, wait until you hear this one! You will be asphyxiating on her lyrical talents and custom-tailored labels-only fashions. And that hair! Don't get me started.

If you can, please come out to support the crazy and messy Lady Leathuh, as this is not only a scandalous, life-threatening public appearance, this is also a cuntest. That's right.

Sunday Night, May 13th, at 1:30 a.m.

JENNIFUH LEATHUH, 21-14-01 @ BARRACUDA

Messy drag queens tend to be forgetful, and I myself being the queen of mess, I have forgotten to inform you all of an opportunity to fuk up your sleep schedule and lungs by cumming to Barracuda Bar on W. 23 St., just east of 8th Ave., just around 1a.m. tonight/Friday morning to catch me lypsynching one of my usual numbers (Surprise! Can you guess which one?) in their cuntest which is hosted by the humorous and lovely Sherry Vine and Big Gyrl Cachetta.

For those of you not ever having seen the lovely lady Jennifuh Leathuh, her alter ego is Andrew McCarthy, and you know all about her insanity (Hi Miss Don, what the fuk is going on!). Special Shout Out to Troy. Gyrl, I will be peeping your outfits in the dance at the Kitchen (jocks and socks?) and perhaps Miss Leathuh will be commissioning your stylings! ;-)

Anyway, there will be many more opportunities to see me lose a cuntest elsewhere, and I will keep you informed of them as well. I hope that you are snuggling next to a loved one or warm pillow at this late hour or are up planning for presidential and vice-presidential assassination. See you tonight or at least have fun at the Black Inches fagazine party at Escuelita tonight while the Chelsea queens are gagging over me and I over my presence in that wretched ghetto!!! ;-)

;-)
Andrew
--OOPS! I mean "Jennifuh."
